Marking a new chapter in aerospace manufacturing

Zeno Event delivered the groundbreaking ceremony for Collins Aerospace’s new manufacturing facility at Seletar Aerospace Park.

Attended by Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong, the ceremony marked the start of construction of a facility designed to introduce a more flexible manufacturing workflow using advanced automation and Industry 4.0 technologies. It represented a significant milestone in Collins Aerospace’s longstanding presence in Singapore.

Event background: Official government speech.

Bringing the ceremony together

Zeno managed the event from planning through on-site delivery, covering stage and backdrop production, ceremony props, sound and lighting, VIP coordination and photography.

The event setting combined a central Collins Aerospace brand feature with large screens displaying the future facility. A white stage, red-carpeted ceremony area and gold shovels with red ribbons created a coordinated presentation for the formal groundbreaking.

A long ceremonial sand bed provided a shared focal point for the participating representatives. Alongside the guest-of-honour address, the shovel ceremony formed a key visual moment, bringing the project’s leadership and partners together against the branded stage.

The completed experience

The event translated a major industrial investment into a tangible occasion: speeches established its significance, while the collective groundbreaking symbolised the next phase of development.

For Zeno, the project demonstrates our experience delivering corporate milestone ceremonies where formal protocol, technical production and the main ceremony must work together.
